Often mistaken for a Swiss, this Norwegian cheese is nuttier and sweeter than most Swiss cheeses.

It does, however, embody the physical characteristics that most people think of when they think "Swiss" cheese. Irregularly shaped medium to large eyes invade the otherwise smooth yellowish colored pate.

Mild in taste, this cheese is a great all around cheese. Perfect melted on a grilled cheese or panini.
