Salt has been harvested along the Essex coast for centuries.

By the time the Domesday book was written there were 45 salt pans in the Maldon area alone.

Maldon has been operating under that name since 1882, still working out of the traditional black weather-board buildings.

Their sea salt is completely pure and natural, boiled away gently to create soft flakes and retain trace elements of magnesium and calcium.
